From Sketch to Perfect Finish

Each VART figurine is handcrafted: from the very first sketch to the final polish. Aurea Hybrid Core allows us to capture the finest details, depth of form, and textures that invite a closer look.

We create every figurine entirely in our own workshop — from the first drawing to the final finishing touch. Behind each small piece stands a complex and meticulous process where every detail passes through the hands of a craftsman.

Process7 steps

  1. Full production cycle in one workshop

    Sketch

Every figurine begins as an idea on paper. Proportions, movement, and character are refined before sculpting begins, ensuring every line feels precise and balanced.

  2. Clay Sculpting

The sketch becomes a three-dimensional form. The artist sculpts the model by hand, refining details, shape, and expression.

  3. Mold Making

A silicone mold is created from the master model with high precision, preserving every curve, texture, and fine surface detail.

  4. Material Casting

Aurea Hybrid Core is poured into the prepared mold under controlled temperature and material density. After curing, the piece is removed and prepared for hand-finishing.

  5. Hand Polishing

The surface goes through multiple stages of sanding and hand polishing. This gives the figurine smoothness, depth, and a refined premium finish.

  6. Gold Leaf & Hand Painting

The final finish combines gold leaf application and hand painting, emphasizing the form, texture, and character of the figurine. Metallic accents, tones, and details are carefully applied by hand, giving each piece its own unique appearance.

  7. Hand-numbered & signed

    Final Inspection

Each figurine undergoes a final manual quality check. We inspect detail accuracy, surface quality, and overall balance before every piece is individually numbered and hand-signed, completing the creation of a unique collectible artwork.

A figurine isn’t finished when it looks right. It’s finished when nothing more can be added or removed.
